I'm huge fan of this series and I love the well balanced mix of fiction and historical facts.
This instalment was excellent and it kept me hooked till the last page.
It was great to meet again Rowland and his friends and read about the development in their life, it's like to meet a group of old friends. The cast of characters is as likeable and well thought as usual.
The well crafted plot and the solid mystery that kept me guessing were gripping and entertaining.
It was an excellent read, strongly recommended.

A good thriller, gripping and entertaining. I prefer the first half of the story because it's less weird and more believable.
Even if the second half it's a bit over my suspension of belief level I found this book gripping and enjoyable.
I liked the atmosphere, the fleshed out cast of characters and the plot.
It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last.

I read a lot of raving reviews about the first book in this series and I was more than happy when I got this ARC.
I started to read and I was hooked. I think it's a gripping and entertaining read, with an excellent world building and a well thought cast of characters.
I liked the different POV and the character development. The plot is well crafted and kept me hooked till the end.

I'm happy I requested this ARC because I discovered a new to me great sci-fi series.
Everything is perfect: the plot is gripping and entertaining, the story flows without any hiccup, the cast of characters is well thought and interesting.
