I'm a fan of William Gibson and I did a joy dance when I was approved for this ARC.
Unfortunately Mr Gibson sometimes sleeps and this book is the result.
I found it confusing and flat. There are some interesting ideas but I couldn't be involved and the book fell flat.
Maybe it was mood or maybe it's not my cup of tea.

I enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed the other books in this series. The plot is well crafted and flows, the cast of characters is fleshed and interesting, the setting lovely.

A delightful cosy mystery with an interesting romantic subplot.
I loved the vivid and enchanting setting, the well thought and likeable cast of characters and the engrossing plot.
The mystery is solid and it kept me guessing.

It was a gripping and entertaining read, with a great cast of characters and a multilayered plot that kept turning pages.

I'm a fan of Alfie and George and was more than happy to meet them again and enjoy their adventure.
Pickles, the puppy, is a lovely addiction and it made me smile and remember when I had puppies in my life.
The story is sweet and heartwarming as usual and it was great to read about the developments in the life of the cast of characters.
A well written, engrossing and entertaining read, I can't wait to read the next instalment.

A lovely and sweet Christmas story, poignant and heartwarming at same time.
I loved Esme and Joe, rooted for them, and I think they're both well written and well developed characters.
The plot is engrossing and it's more about moving on, taking changes and facing difficulties than a simple Christmas romcom.
I also love the secondary cast of characters as they're well written and quirky.
I look forward to reading other books by this author and would be great to meet again this characters.

Even if I didn't read the previous installments in this series I han no big issues with the plot and the characters.
