Is there anything like a bad Georgette Heyer's bad piece of Regency fiction ? No, there isn't. This short story confirm the theory.
If you like Georgette Heyer this is a must have, you never read her books it could be nice but not the best way to discover this writer.
Thanks to Netgalley and Sourcebook Casablanca for giving me the chance to review this book

I was sad when the book was over because I wanted it to continue. A Mainely Needlepoint Mystery series is amongst my favourite series and this books is the best one. Characters have been improved, the plot is tight and there is no hole. I was kept guessing til the last page and was not expecting any further twist but I was surprised.
Many thanks to Netgalley and Kensington Books for giving me the chance to read this book

What a lovely book! I love the Darling Dahlias mysteries and I like the personal stories and well as the historical setting and the descriptions of how people lived. This is a good mystery with a little cliffhanger that let hope for a development in book that will come soon.
Really enjoyed it!
Tnx to Netgalley and the publisher

A story about female friendship, secrets, being hurted and healing. And a mystery as well. This is not the typical cozy mystery, it's darker and sometimes the mystery plot takes the backseat.
Friendship and healing matters as much as finding the culprit. It made me cry sometimes as I was able to recognize myself in some small details.
It is strongly advised if you want a mystery with some food for thought.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher

t should 3,5 stars, rounded to 4.
I really liked the cover. The book is well written, humorous, has a sound plot and, likeable characters. It is about family relationship, changes and the path to healing.
I like it even if the path chosen by the heroine do not mirror mine but in any case it offers food for thought.
On the other side it is a bit slow at times.
I would advise this book to people who are looking for reflection on a Christian path.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher

Unfortunately I did not read the first part and it was really hard to understand the relationship, who is who and the relatationship between the different persons. A recap at the beginning would have helped and improved the reading experiend.
The pace was really fast, even a bit frenetic. The cover and the title suggested something lighter and less dark.
I wanted to like this book but I was not able for the above mentioned reasons.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read and review this book

A great fantasy book! I started to read it and I was hooked in this crossworld fantasy novel. I like the characters, the humour and how good the plot is, the pace not too slow or frantic.
The duels and the battles are epic.
I hope to be able to read the following instalments in this saga soon and and strongly advised it to whoever is a fantasy lover.
