Got this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review
This book is funny but is not my cup of tea.
I enjoyed the book, really appreciated the Iowan seniors because they are really funny.
It seems to me that the book is more a humorous one than a mystery as the mystery takes the back seat and it seems to be something that is not so important, just problems that cause problems to the tour.
I suppose this was caused by the settings, really static and not much happening.
Curious to see if the other book in the series are more on the mystery side.

A page turner. I really liked this book: it is well written, no hole in the plot or rushed closure. I never read a Loretta Ross' book before but I will go and look for the other ones in this serie.

What a lovely mystery! The plot had a lot of good twists and turns, kept me guessing til the end and I enjoyed the characters.. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Many thanks to Midnight Ink and Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book!

This is one of my favourite cozy/paranormal mystery and, as usual, it was a lovely reading, definitely better than the last one. Less sugary and more fun
The entire plot is based on murder that could not be a murder and the heroine is looking for the answer as well as trying to learn who was the culprit. I enjoyed the turns in the plot as well as the development of the heroine love life and of the other of the cast of charachters.
The book, even if it is part of a series but can be read standalone and it is rich in details and explanation.
A very lovely read if you enjoy witches mysteries with a touch of romance.
Many thanks to Netgalley and Berkley for allowing me to review this book.

I really enjoyed this book even if it took me sometime to get involved in the plot. It was my first book by Vicky Delany and in this series. The more I read the more I liked both the plot and the characters even if sometimes Gemma, the book heroine, is not so likeable :)
Being a Sherlock Holmes fan I appreciated both the references both Gemma's deductive method.
The book is really well written.
Many thanks to Netgalley and Crooked Lane Books for giving me the chance to read this book.
