This is an unusual thriller as it's a story of a serial killer crime spress but also the story of a couple and their everyday struggle.
A multiple POVs story that kept me on the edge and hooked since the first pages. Fast paced, growing tensions, and a lot going on.

As I discovered this was the follow up to another book I check the previous story and liked it as it's a good fantasy even if some parts didin't age well.
This follow up is lovely and I enjoyed the world building, the characters, and the plot.

I listened to a lot of Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky. Thought I knew a lot about this genre as I consider it one of my favorite.
i was wrong and learned a lot reading this book. More groups, songs and records.

There's a lot of potential in this series and the mystery worked well. I wasn't a fan of the historical background and Coco Chanel was a more complex character than the vapid woman in this story.
I want to read the next book as Ms Maxwell is an excellent writer.

It's the first book I read in this series and I want to read the rest as it's a solid mystery and a highly entertaining story.
The characters are likeable and fleshed out, the mystery is solid and full of surprises.
Even if it's not the first in this series it can be read a stand alone.

I love of Goodess of Green series and enjoyed some of the Flower Shop series. This book is a sort of cross over as it features characters from both series and it was a very entertaining, compelling, and funny read.
I was hooked since the first pages, had a lot of fun in meeting again Athena's family, and the solid mystery kept me turning pages.
A very entertaining read.
