Great photos, the perfect book for an armchair traveller. It made me wish I could travel to Florida.
I loved it and it was a good way to learn about this place.

The Lost Bones is the 5th book in this series and it's the best one so far (I hope there will be a lot of other "best books").
Before writing this review, I was thinking about this series and the reasons why I loved it.
I could list the classical reasons: gripping, compelling, entertaining, well written, and so on.
But these reasons are valid for other series as well and this one has something that makes it fly: all characters evolve and the Mackenzie of book 5 is different from Mad Mack of book 1.
There's a lot going on in this book and there's a lot going on in Mackenzie's life. The crimes and the investigations make her face her past and I hope to read the next book soon because I want to meet that Mackenzie.
After these blah-blahs I want to talk about the plot and it's fast paced, action packed, and adrenaline fuelled.
It's more gritty and darker than the previous books and it brings the characters to some very dark places. I loved how the author deals with the twists and the social issues in this book.
It's a highly entertaining and gripping story that I strongly recommend.

It's the first book I read in this series and won't surely be the last as I thoroughly enjoyed.
It's well plotted, gripping, and I liked the description of the world of races and Harry, the MC.
The mystery is solid and kept me guessing, good storytelling, well developed characters.
Can't wait to read the next story.

I think this is one the best mystery series set in the age of King Charles II. There's humour, a gripping plot, and a well researched and vivid historical background.
This book is a bit darker than other I read and the setting is fascinating as it's a town falling into the sea.
There's a lot going on and there're twists and a lot of possible culprit.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and it's strongly recommended.

This is an action packed, adrenaline fuelled, and fast paced story and, even if it it’s I don’t usually read this genre, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The author knows what he’s talking about and I appreciated the details and the realistic descriptions. It’s an interesting way of learning about places and events we read but we could feel removed from our experience.
Geordie is an interesting and fleshed out characters, he’s faulted but he’s also a man who lives according to his principles.
The author is a good storyteller and this book kept my attention alive and kept me turning pages.
There’s plenty of action and there’s plenty of violence but there’s no gore or gratuitous killing.
I want to read other books by this author as I liked this one.

This is a book that deals in an interesting way with serious topics like depressions without turning into a depressing or very sad book.
The characters are fleshed out and the author did a good job in developing the plot.

A charming and witty historical fiction based on a real characters. It was the first book i read by this author and I was fascinated by the excellent storytelling and the style of writing.
The historical background is well researched and vivid, the characters are fleshed out.
