I grew up in the years after Vatican II and remember how people were full of hope and excited for what it meant.
I read the documents and saw how a lot was forgotten during the year and how conservatives silenced a lot of voices.
This is a well written and thought provoking book that could help a lot of people to discover what Vatican II means and its goals.

I think it could be an interesting resource if you are new to the craft even if some of the ingredients are quite expensive.

It's the second book i read in this series and i was happy to read it as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's a gripping and highly entertaining novel, full of twists and fast paced.
I was glad to catch up with the characters and appreciated the solid plot that kept me guessing.

This is a new to me author and I'm happy I discovered this stories written in the Golden Age of Mystery.
They are entertaining, riveting and the puzzle are complex and not easy to solve.
I liked the MC, an unusual type of detective and think they aged well.
NOTE: they were written a long time ago so they are not politically correct.

I've always been fascinated by Egyptology and was wanted to read this book that features Evelyn, Lord Carnavon's daughter.
I found it a compelling and enjoyable read that made me appreciated this woman, so unusual and strong willed.
The dual timeline works well and we get to know the young Evelyn and how she was in the 70s, ill and frail.
The author is a talented storyteller, the historical background is well researched, the characters are fleshed out and interesting
