Another twisty, fast paced, dark, and gritty thriller by Stuart Johnstone. A well plotted and gripping story that kept me on the edge and guessing till the end.
Highly recommended.

Three women in a wealthy family: different stories and different upbringing. They're not very likeable and their problem are very first world problem but you cannot help finding some details or something in common.
This is a book about wealth but it's also a book about women. There's fun but there's also poignant moments.
Loved this story, loved the style of writing and the storytelling, loved the descriptions.
Highly recommended.

It's maybe the second Paige Toon's book I read and I loved it. It's poignant and heartwarming at the same time, there's a romance but there's also grief, family, moving on.
The author is a talented storyteller and the story kept me turning pages. I loved the characters and rooted for them.
A good story that I strongly recommend.

Cleopatra and Julius Caesar story is almost archetypal and the author did a good job in using it in a sci-fi based story.
It's a gripping story, well plotted and intriguing. I was attracted by the reference to the historical characters and liked how their story seems new even if it's faithful to the original.
The world building is interesting and I liked the storytelling.
I think this is going to be a good series and I want to read the next books.

I love Aliette de Bodard style of writing and love all her series, my fav the Fallen. This is a well plotted novel that I enjoyed even if it's not a favorite.
The Xuya Universe is intriguing, a universe full of great characters and with a Vietnamese lifestyle very detailed.
I always end up craving some of the teas they drink and I'm not much of a tea drinker
The story starts in a very exciting way introducing us to XI Sich and Rice Fish, the main characters. Both interesting character, Xi Sich more shy while Rice Fish is a very seductive avatar.
It drags a bit as politics takes the front seat but it never stopped being entertaining.
The romance was a bit too fast but I rooted for the characters.
Aliette de Bodard never disappoints and this well plotted and fascinating novel is another example of her excellent storytelling and fascinating world building.
Highly recommended.

An intriguing and entertaining biography of the first female tour organiser. A woman with a full and rewarding life and plenty of stories to tell.
I thoroughly enjoyed this biography and it's highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed this well plotted, compelling, and highly entertaining story: it made me laugh, kept me turning pages, and had fun.
It’s the second in a paranormal romance series but it can be read as a stand-alone as the author explains who the characters are and what happened.
I loved the Christmas atmosphere, the realistic and well developed characters, and the world building.
Krampus keeps some of its original characteristics and it’s an interesting and well-developed bad guy. The author made it a character of the Nordic mythology and referenced that mythology in the world build. As a matter of fact, Krampus is a character of the Alpine tradition and the book talks about Krampus Nacht and how the previous events made this story possible.
This mix of different traditions could sound a bit weird but I liked the world building and liked the creative use of different elements joining them in a intriguing setting.
I want to read other stories in this series, this one is recommended.
Many thanks to S.K. Andrews and Henry Roi PR for this digital copy, all opinions are mine.

There's not a lot of stories featuring gardener and gardening and this was a lovely surprised. I fell in love with the cover and then fell in love with the well plotted and heartwarming story.
There's some sadness but there's also hope, warm and fun.

This is the first graphic novel i read set in the Whoverse and this Whovian was very happy to discover a new universe and another part of this very vast universe.
I think it must be read in paper as it was not easy to read on Ipad even if I thoroughly enjoyed it and learn something new in this complex lore.
Highly recommended.
