A Kelly Society Christmas
by S.K. Andrews
I thoroughly enjoyed this well plotted, compelling, and highly entertaining story: it made me laugh, kept me turning pages, and had fun.
It’s the second in a paranormal romance series but it can be read as a stand-alone as the author explains who the characters are and what happened.
I loved the Christmas atmosphere, the realistic and well developed characters, and the world building.
Krampus keeps some of its original characteristics and it’s an interesting and well-developed bad guy. The author made it a character of the Nordic mythology and referenced that mythology in the world build. As a matter of fact, Krampus is a character of the Alpine tradition and the book talks about Krampus Nacht and how the previous events made this story possible.
This mix of different traditions could sound a bit weird but I liked the world building and liked the creative use of different elements joining them in a intriguing setting.
I want to read other stories in this series, this one is recommended.
Many thanks to S.K. Andrews and Henry Roi PR for this digital copy, all opinions are mine.
