I loved this book, loved the style of writing, the humour and loved the descriptions of the shop.
It's an intriguing book that talks about working in one of the most ancient rare bookseller, Sotheran. I fell in love with the shop, the books and thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions fo the customers and the quirky events.
There's some more serious topics like sexism and homophobia and there's a lot of fun.
Highly recommended.

Silverweed Road is a place right out of a nightmare. These stories, set in this place, are a mixed bag but all of them are quite creepy and more or less full of gore.
A good horror book.

There's enough in recent South American history to made hard to think about worse horrors.
This is a horror and I think it was also a sort of allegory of power and politics. It's a very long book and sometimes it drags.
It's also a good horror story featuring any possibile horror tropes and supported by excellent storyteller.
It wasn't an easy read or an entertaining read but it's an intriguing book.

A good start for a new fantasy series: it's an entertaining and well plotted story. I loved the vivid historical background and the MCs.
The world building is intriguing and the author is a good storyteller
Can't wait to read the next story.

I didn't read a lot of Arkham and this collection of short stories was quite entertaining and good way to learn more about this series
Not all the stories are at the same level but they're all entertaining.

My fault: changed phone, forgot to redownload the audiobooks, got them out of Netgalley.
It could seem a dry book but it's quite fascinating as there's historical, geological facts and the lore for each of them.
Loved it and learned a lot.
Highly recommended.

I've always been fascinated by the Mongols, Gengis Khan and this well researched and informative book made me learn more about them.

I d0n't know if this non fiction, historical fiction, or whatever. I know I loved this book and was enthralled by what I was reading.
Istanbul is one of my favorite places in the world and Süleymaniye Mosque is one of my favorite places in Istanbul.
It's the story of an age full of fascinating and strong characters, an age of importante changes like the Reform and Renaissance, an age where two different culture clashes and live side by side at the same time.
It's an important part of the European culture if you are born next to the Mediterranean and I learned a lot more about this time even if it's not the first book about these age I read.
The storytelling is hypnotic and I was enthralled and couldn't stop turning pages.
It's an excellent book but you will appreciate it if you know about XVI century European history or are ready to learn: in in this I strongly recommend it.

I had a lot of fun in reading Sherlock Holmes and the Count Dracula and had a lot of fun in read this follow up which features a lot characters from the previous books.
It's a good mix of horror, historical mystery with a pinch of humour and a Holmes nearly canonical.
It's gripping, fast paced and highly entertaining.
It can be read as a stand alone but it will be more enjoyable if you read the books in order.
Highly recommended.

I never thought I would read a book about Sewers but I did and learned a lot about this type of infrastructure.
It's absolutely necessary but we never think about it unless there's a leakage or bad smell.
The author did an excellent job in writing a book entertaining and informative.
