I love pre-raphaelites painters and I know Dante Gabriele Rossetti's work and about his sister but never read Christina Rossetti before.
I loved her image and her poetry. The Gobiin Market is a poem open to any type of interpretation and I loved it.
There's a lot to love in this author's works and I hope more people will read her.

This is a delightfully creepy, entertaining, and gripping retelling of Christina Rossetti's The Goblin Market.
There's a lot to love in this book: the diverse characters, the storytelling, and the well plotted story.
The Goblin Market is an allegoric poems and this retelling is one of the possible way of looking at it.
I strongly recommend it.

I fell in love with the cover and enjoyed this cozy mystery even if it's not my fav in this lovely series.
Monica and the characters are fleshed and likeable as usual even if there's lass iteration.
The mystery kept me guessing but I found some parts require a bit too much of suspension of belief.
An entertaining read that I recommend.

A heartbreaking and thought provoking book about family, racism, grief. There's some very sad moment but the author deals with the very tragic plot and topic in an excellent way, always keeping the attention alive.
I throughly love the plot, the characters, and the storytelling.

This is a good start for a new historical mystery series and I enjoyed it even if deals with quite disturbing facts.
The heroine is a strong woman, not conforming to the norm, and fighting for the underdogs.
The plot flows and the mystery kept me guessing.
If we want to define it cozy I would add "dark cozy.

A sort of fairy tale, an original and highly entertaining story about common people. People who find a way to improve their life and maybe find happyness.
I loved the style of writing and the character development. The plot made me laugh but there were also some more poignant moments.

This is an inclusive, highly entertaining, and festive rom com. It made me smile, enjoy the atmosphere, root for the characters, and have a lot of fun.
The characters are well plotted and likeable, the story is well plotted and i like the storytelling.
