A dark, gripping, and twisty technothriller that kept me hooked and on the edge till the end.
It's well researched and it sound realistic even to someone who wok in high tech. Good storytelling, excellent plot and character development.
Highly recommended.

I haven't been reading a paranormal romance featuring vampires in a long time and this is a good one. I'm not a fan of steamy plot but I liked the characters and the world building.
It's an entertaining and well plotted story and I rooted for MIna, a very interesting character.

A fabolous collection of short stories related by books, All the stories are excellent, some are even better like "Malice Domestic" (a great story with an exceptional surprising twist) and "A Man and His Mother-in-law" (I found it funny but with a chilling and darker undertone).
Martin Edwards did an excellent job in choosing the stories and can't wait to read the next anthology.
Highly recommended.

I'm always glad when I start a story featuring Maddie Pastore as I know I'm going to read an entertaining story. This one matched my expectations and kept me hooked and guessing.
I think that the characters and the historical background are amongst the strong points of this series and the plots are always well developed.

This is not a series I usually read even if I appreciate the author and know it's entertaining. I saw the cover and couldn't resist requesting it.

I liked the first book in this series and thoroughly enjoyed this one that kept me hooked and guessing.
The twists and turns were unexpected and the plot surprised me till the end.
Kate is a clever and strong women, I love the descriptions of her work as vet as they're well researched and realistic as not all her patients are lovely and very quiet pet.
The cast of characters is fleshed and I like the relationships amongst the people in the clinic team.
It's and entertaining and compelling read that I strongly recommend.

This is a slow burning and character driven book so if you expect battles and action since the first pages this is not the right book.
I found it fascinating and Tanya Huff delivers a novel that kept me turning pages even when I was wondering if something was going to happen.
It's a classic fantasy but I was fascinated by the unknown and how the characters related to the people who live next to the Broken Lands.
You can see the Broken Lands history as an allegory of the risk of science and power or you can enjoy the story and the world building.
This book features one of the most hateful characters I've in some time: Lyelee the scholar someone who could be a perfect villain but you're not sure if she's just impatient or someone who is not empathic at all.
I love Tanya Huff's books and even if this is not my favorite I enjoyed it.
