A fascinating dual time line story set in the present day and during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
The story is well plotted and well researched, I like the two strong female characters and the mix of history, personal story, and intrigues.
Recommended.

I usually cry buckets when I read a book about animals and this one was no exception.
It's a realistic story of dogs and wolfs and what happened to them in the aftermath of Chernobil.
It's not a book I would recommend to young child but it's a good book.

I fell in love with this book since the first chapters: a mix of family and personal story mixed with Turkish and European history.
Different POV that creat a coloured and detailed tapestry, an artist and her past.
The author is an excellent storyteller and I loved this story.
Highly recommended.

A well plotted, heart-warming, and festive novel that made me smile and wish I could travel to Dordogne.
Sweet story, fleshed out characters, a compelling plot.

Nicola May is a rom-com superstar but she’s also an excellent writer who delivers multi-layered stories that makes laugh and think.
She can deal with serious topics in a light way and this book is another example.
I fell in love with her style writing when I read The Ferry Lane Market series and The Hub confirm my opinion.
Augusta, Max and the bizarre cast of characters are well tought, multifaceted, and relatable.
I wasn’t a fan of Augusta at the beginning, but she grew on me as she moved on and stopped talking about her ex-fiancée every minute.
There’s a lot of funny moments, there’s a well plotted story and I hope there’s going to be a series because I want to know what will happen.
The Hub is highly recommended if you want to have fun, think, and read a good book.

This is a very dark, twisty, violent, and gorey book that doesn't spare any details. it's interesting how women are able to devise the worst literary torture for other women.
It was totally out of my comfort zone but it was also a well written story. I'm not a fan of Eli and I found the villain more interesting even if totally deranged.
The problems with this book is that it was marked as a sort of Misery. It's not Misery and the style of writing are very different.
It's harsh and disturbing thriller so be read if you want to read it.

This series improves with each new instalment and this was gripping, compelling, and it kept me on the edge.
Beth is growing as character and the complex plot kept me turning pages and guessing.
There's humour, there's suspence, and twists.
It can be read as a stand alone and if you like cozy mystery this is highly recommended.

This passionate book is entertaining, thought provoking, and a love letter to book worlds. It may seem strange but the history of blurbs it's also the history of how the approach to books changed.
I loved the style of writing and learned more.
Highly recommended.
