An entertaining and well plotted historical cozy mystery, a Regency fiction full of humour. It features well plotted and interesting characters and the solid mystery kept me guessing.

There's plenty of secrets and twists, you don't who is the victim and who the culprit till the end.

I thought it was more of a whodunit with a puzzle to solve. It's a family drama with a thriller part.
Gripping and entertaining even if it's not what I expected.
The author did a good job in building the suspence and the clues were left to helpt you to solve the plot.

It's a well plotted and gripping plotted even if it's a bit slow and confusing at times.
I liked Ffion and Leo, rooted for them and hoped they could find something better, and was a bit confused by the high number of POVs.
It's an interesting mystery and the twists surprised me. I liked the solution and it would be interesting to read other novels featuring Ffion and Leo.
