I can't help requesting an arc featuring a dog or a cat on the cover. I can't help loving a rom-com featuring a lovely puppy as matchmaker.
This is a story that made me laugh and root for the fleshed out characters.
I had fun and loved the story.

Not a heart warming or easy book but an important book due to the zeitgeist. It's a sort of "Never forget" as it talks about what meant being a single mother not long ago and what was if you needed an abort.
It's disturbing, heart wrenching, and gripping.
I hope younger women will read it as it could happen again.

I was attracted by the setting and appreciated this well plotted and gripping noir. It's a solid story that kept me hooked even if the end left me wondering.

Two novellas: one by a master of fantasy and one by a new to me author. It works very well and it's part of a series that promises to be very interesting.
I appreciated the world building and the storytelling, the two novellas are well plotted and I liked the mix of fantasy and sci-fi as we are in a future when vampires, zombies and other creature lives with humans.
