This was a promising and gripping series since the first pages and it never stopped keeping me hooked and entertained.
This is fast paced, action packed, and highly satisfying end of this saga.
Characters, world building, and storytelling are excellent as usual.
Highly recommended.

A romantic fantasy set in in an Italian like setting. I loved Alessia and Dante and couldn't stop reading.
Excellent storytelling and plot/character development. A compelling and entertaining story that kept me hooked.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series

This is a very huge book and an excellent fantasy book. I recently discovered this author and I'm more than happy I could immerse myself into the world of Osten Ard.
Please not that this is the first part of the final instalment and I can't wait to read the next book.
The author deliver a great story and I loved it since the initial recap. The recap it also made me understand how many characters and twists were in this series and this book is also full of actions and twists.
Excellent storyteller, great plot.

There are some moments when you hate the characters and the writer, there are some moments when you love the characters and the writer. It's confusing, gripping, very funny and very sad.
It's a complex story, it makes you wonder if you understood what you read and keeps you hooked.
Please read it.

A gothic story, dark and disturbing at times. It's not a heartwarming or funny book, there's a lot of sufference and it talks about abuse and trying to move on and leave old wounds behind.
I loved the style of writing, hated the characters, and appreciated how the author was able to convey the sufference.
I found it a bit too intense at times but this my personal experience.

I loved Conviction and was happy to catch up with Anna and Fin. Even if I enjoyed the story and appreciated the style of writing/storytelling I found it less gripping than Conviction.
I assume that the mix of religious fanatics/artefacts/family issues didn't work at best and, even if entertaining, it was a bit confusing at time.
Even if I don't recommend it as stand alone it's an entertaining book.

Each book in this series is better than the previous and this means this is the best so far.
I was glad to catch up with Flora and Jack, read about the evolution in their relationship, and travel to the quaint village.
The mystery is solid and kept me guessing, the historical background is as vivid as usual.
Highly recommended.

I'm fascinated by books that talk about our world joining another where magic is real. This was a good and compelling story.
The world building is interesting, I lked the style of writing and the characters.

3,5*
I loved Wendy Darling and had high expectations for this sort of follow up. I loved the parts set in Neverland and liked the second half of the book.
I had some issues with the first 50% as it's quite slow and I thought I was going to DNF it.
I think there's a lot of potential but a more tight and fast pace would help.

I loved this book since I saw the cover. The Ten Riddles of Earth Quicksmith was enjoyable and compelling, this is even better and I was glad to catch up with the characters.
It can be appreciated by children and adults and I had fun in reading it.
Highly recommended.
