A good cozy mystery I thoroughly enjoyed. it's a slow burning novel and I appreciated how the relationships amongst the actor are slowly discovered.
The mystery is solid and kept me guessing.
Helen is an interesting character and I liked her.
Even if it's the second in this series it can be read as a stand-alone as there's a lot of backstory
I can't wait to read other books in this series.

I read the authors featured in this anthology and knew I had to read it.
It's a collection of time travel story, some are more on the romantic side and some more on the sci-fi side.
Not all the stories are at the same level but almost all are excellent.
I discovered some new authors and read new stories by author I love.

This is the best, the most tense and adrenaline fuelled, gripping novel in this series.
It's starts with a bang and it never stop keeping you hooked or surprising with a new twists.
I could write a very long review but i don't want to spoil anything as it's one of those book that you must read if you want to understand why I rated it so highly.

It's the first book i read by Christina Lauren and I never read anything else by this authors. The reviews I read were all positive and I can say I discovered a very entertaining and interesting authors.
This book is very funny and fast paced, a second chance set in the West. I rooted for the characters and laughed a lot.
I can't wait to read the other boosk.

It's always a pleasure read a new novel featuring Eve Mallow as there's a continuous improvement and the mysteries are always solid and an interesting puzzle to solve.
Clare Chase is an excellent storyteller and this story kept me turning pages and I ended it in one setting.
I think that Ms Chase always pays homage to a Golden Age trope and there's a couple in this story too: I won't talk about it because I don't wan to spoil any relevant details of the story.
Eve is a lovely character: clever, curious and never reckless. I love her and I love Gus and the cast of characters.
It would be great if there could be a new police inspector as it would be an interesting twists.
The mystery is darker and more complex that usual, there's plenty of secrets and surprises. I had some doubts about the culprit but I wasn't able to guess the motive. The solutions surprised me as there were some expected twists.
A highly entertaining, compelling, and gripping cozy mystery that I loved.

Luli Wei is an interesting and multilayered characters. They're ready to pay anything to achieve what they want. I didn't like her but I was fascinated.
The author is an excellent storyteller and the world building is well developed. The characters are fleshed out and well rounded.
