This is an exceptional book, historical fiction at its best. It's the first time I heard about choreomania and I loved how this book represented the women who dance till death and the world they lived in.
There's a lot to love in this book: great characters, a well researched and vivid historical background, great storytelling.
I loved the style of writing and the character development. There's something magic and there's a lot of emotions.
I loved these women and loved the plot.

Nicola Upson's Josephine Tey mysteries are always a riveting and gripping read, books that mixes historical characters with fiction.
This one is darker than usual and some parts were heart wrenching.
The author did an excellent job in describing the atmosphere of the days before the start of WWII, the emotions, the darkness at the center of the story. It's a historical mystery with strong gothic elements and the first pages could work well for the start of a horror.
Josephine and the cast of characters are fleshed out and well developed as usual, the plot is well created and the twists surprised me.
It was an excellent reading experience that kept me hooked.

Kerry Greenwood never disappoints and this collection of Phryne Fisher's short stories was a highly entertaining, compelling, and gripping read.
All the stories were new to me and filled some gaps, introduced new characters, and were a lot of fun to read.
I love this women and love her books.

I'm glad I was able to read these mysteries as they are original, well written, and compelling.
There's a lot of humor, there's fun, but the author also deals with serious topics like mental health in a very sensitive way.
I like the quirky and likeable characters, the paranormal side was funny, the mysteries solid.
I hope to read other books in this series, those in this collection are highly recommended.
