A very good fantasy novel, fast paced and full of action. Never a moment of bore.

Come al solito c'è grande attenzione all'attualità ma stavolta l'occhio è sul commissario.
Mi è mancata un po' l'azione corale.
Un buon libro che si legge in un fiato e che non riesci a mettere giù
Il cliffhanger finale rimanda al prossimo libro che spero esca presto

I'm more a cozy mystery type of reader but once I started this book I couldn't put it down.
It has a dark atmosphere and a sense of danger that keep you reading to understanding what's coming.
I really like the main characters, with their secrets and emotional baggage, as well as the description of the places, and the twist and tricks of the plot.
i hope this is the first in a series and look forward to reading other books by this writer.

This is the book i'd have liked to read when I was in the twenties.
A witty, funny and enjoyable guide on how to say no to people and situation who want to force you into saying yes to their requests.
Even if now I'm older and learned how to say no there're still some tricks and advice that can be useful.
It was a useful and fun read.

A truly enjoyable read, perfect for fan of Jane Austen who wondered what happened to some characters.
The book is well written, in a style that reminds of the original Austen one.
The plot is enthralling and it answers to all questions left by the original Austen text. The historical settings is perfect and the writer has a good grip of the Regency world.
I highly recommend this book, a page turner that kept hooked since the first page

Even if I didn't read the previous instalment I found this book fascinating.
The atmosphere is on the noir side but even if I was expecting some cozier :)
I loved the descriptions of Paris and the cast of characters. The heroine is tres chic with some comic issue related to being a working mother.
The plot kept me hooked till the end and I liked the style of writing
I think I will read the previous instalment to have a better understandment of who's who.
