A very well written cozy mystery. I liked the idea of a mystery set in the world of star chef.
The book is well written, fun to read. Even it's a bit slow at beginning when it starts going is full of action and very entertaining.
I loved the cast of characters and i loved the British country settings.

This is a very good fantasy book regardless of the age of the reader. It's fast paced, with a lot of world building and a great plot.

Even if this the account of a true crime this book can be read like a murder.
The title can be misleading as there's just a tenuous link to Conan Doyle but it's well researched and gives a complete picture of who the victim was and how lived and of the general historical environment.
A fascinating read that I recommend.

What a great mystery! A bit darker than the standard cozy and more action packed it's a real page turner.
I loved the heroine, so unusual and fascinating, and the cast of characters that are interesting and described with a lot of nuances.
The plot is sound, no plot hole or rushed solution.

A book that is very excting and full of suspense, it's a real page turner.
This book had me hooked since the first pages and I'd to end it as soon as I could as I was really invested in the plot and the characters.
It was the first one I read in this series but I'd no problems in understanding the characters and their relationships.
The plot was very good and full of twists and turns.
