Another entertaining and compelling Stewart Hoag mystery, I read other before and always had a lot of fun in reading them.
It's a solid mystery that kept me guessing and having fun till the end. I liked the descriptions of the building and its inhabitants even if the side characters are bit on the caricatural side.
Can't wait to read the next story.

I'm always happy to catch up with Juno and her friend and always enjoy the mystery.
This one was a bit too slow at the beginning but once the mystery part started I read it as fast as I could.
The mystery is solid and the characters likeable and fleshed out.
Can't wait to read the next story.

An excellent homage to impossible murders and locked room mystery, a gripping and well written story that kept me turning pages and trying to solve the puzzle at the center of the story.
I loved Spector and Flint, they're a perfect detecting couple. The suspects are a fascinating group of people who's hiding secrets and could be the culprit.
It's a page turner I couldn't put down and loved.
I hope to read other stories featuring Spector and Flint.

I love book featuring an alternate London where not everything is what it seems. Somehow it reminded me of Simon R Green's Secret Histories, a compliment as I'm a huge fan of Green.
There's an interesting world building and Joan evolution is quite interesting. I didn't like her at the beginning but she grew on me.
The characters are interesting and the plot is faced and action packed.
Can't wait to read another book by this author.

It's an entertaining and compelling addition to this series and I liked it even if it wasn't a favorite.
I was glad to catch up with Jemina and the cast of characters and the solid mystery kept me guessing.
There's plenty of humour and it's a light read that made me smile and kept me reading.
My only issue was with Tori as I don't think I would be so forgiving if you trash my place and also states your legal right as a squatter. That said I found Tory an unbearable brat.
Even if it can be read as a stand alone it's better read the books in order.

It's a gripping and compelling story featuring a great cast of characters.
Odessa is a clever and fleshed out characters and you cannot help feeling for her.
The paranormal part is well done and the solid mystery kept me guessing.
I can't wait for the next story.
