I think there's a lot of potential and I found the part set in 90s quite entertaining, the style of writing is quite good.
Unfortunately I didn't care for the mystery and the part set in our time seemed a bit confused.

Loved, loved, loved! A great book: well written, riveting, and enthralling. A great mix of magic realism, fantasy, and a pinch of mystery.
Great characters, world building and excellent storytelling.

I didn't read the first book in this series but I thoroughly enjoyed this one: a gripping, fascinating, and well written story.
It's fast paced, the storytelling is excellent, and the characters are fleshed out.
I loved the well researched and vivid historical background.

It's a story about grief, coming home, arts, relationships, family. It's a well written story that makes travel to places and wish you were there.
Excellent storytelling and character development, a fascinating plot.

I read Wyrd Sisters more times that I can remember and always found something new, some food for thought, laughed a lot, and fell in love with Discworld.
This is the start of my favorite series, Esmeralda Weatherwas and Nanny Ogg are great characters. They're strong, clever, and very funny.
Magrat, the younger witch who's getting stronger.
And Greebo, one of my favorite characters in Discworld.
If you want an action packed book this is not the right one, if you want a highly entertaining and clever book please read it.
Highly recommended.
