It was an interesting read as one usually knows about the meaning of the single tarot card but the story behind it's usually unknown.
I appreciated this well researched book, learned something new and I think it would be great in hardcover.
Highly recommended.

This is the type of book you need to read when the sky is grey and you're feeling blue: well written, entertaining, life affirming and heartwarming.
The author did an excellent job in delivering a sweet Christmas story, a romance but also the description of a community at Christmas time.
Liza grew slowly on me as I wasn't her fan at the beginning, Ned is an interesting character. I loved the chemistry and their relationship.
Lovely setting, sweet story that kept me hooked.

This is the first rom-com I've ever read featuring a polyamorous relationship. I appreciated how the author describes the relationships amongst the characters and how positive they are.
The characters are likeable and the story is both heartwarming and sweet.
It kept me reading and thoroughly enjoyed.

Even if I thoroughly enjoyed it I found it a bit slow at the beginning and it took some time before the action started.
That said I was happy to read a new story in this paranormal series.
The romance is sweet, there's plenty of humour and the world building intersting.

It was an interesting read and I think it will surely be appreciated by those interested in military history.
It compares life, historical times and military plans of the two generals and it makes it in a fascinating way.
I am not an expert to say if the chosen one was the best one but I enjoyed this book.

As we are living during a pandemic it's interesting to learn about what happened in the past.
This book is well researched and answered to some of my questions and made me learn something new.
Informative, well researched and compelling.

I got this arc because I found the blurb interesting, read it and think this a great story. It's so fast paced that sometimes I had to stop and breath. The world building is original and I appreciated how it mixes different mythology, angels, nephilim and makes it working together.
It starts as a thriller and then it drives you to unexpected places.
The characters and the world building are excellent, the author is a talented storyteller.
Some parts reminded me of Gaiman's Sandman stories and others of Good Omens but the author was able to recreate a new mythology.
I can't wait to read another book by this author.
Highly recommended.

This is a heartwarming and riveting story, one of those book perfect for a grey and cold afternoon.
It's not one which rewrites a genre as the plot is a bit predictable but it's surely highly entertaining.
I like story set in small community and like those that features over 40 characters.
This story ticked all the check and I liked it.
Likeable and well written characters, a lovely setting, good storytelling.

A thriller with an interesting paranormal twist, it kept me hooked and guessing.
There's plenty going on, it's atmospheric and gripping. I loved the eery descriptions of the wood and the unusual mix of different genre.
The dual timeline and POVs added layers to the story.
