I really liked this book.
It is at the same time a fantasy novel, a love story and reflection on aging and being human.
Even if it is quite slow at times, it engage the reader and give food for thought on some of the big questions.
Really well written, it is well documented and fascinating in its travel amongst different ages.

The book is interesting even if it is a bit slow. The characters are interesting but it takes quite a long time before the action starts.
I'm a fan of Golden Age mystery but it took quite an effort to keep on reading and sometimes had to go back in order to see if I understood everything.
Quite a good book but it did not age well and it is more an interesting picture of an era than an engaging mystery.

Darker and more psychological than the book I usually read it was a really good read.
I appreciated the style of writing and the plot was really sound and contains no hole.
The relationship between the characters are realistic and well developed.
It was entertaining and thrilling at the same, a page turner.

I really enjoyed this book that kept me hooked and guessing till the end.
The plot was interesting, with a lot of red herrings and turns. The style of writing, even if a big aged, was interesting and I really liked the cast of characters.

I'm a fan of Elvis the Cat and love this series.
This one is as entertaining and fun as usualy but a bit darker.
In any case there the usual lovely cast of characters and a very nice plot.
