A very good mystery. I already read one with Mordecai Tremaine and this didn't fail to entertain me.
It's bit slow in some parts but all the details and the back story help to understand who did it and why.
It is well written, interesting and well developed characters, with non plot hole or inconsistencies.
Very good and strongly recommended.
Many thanks to Sourcebooks Landmark and Edelweiss.

I heard a lot about this series so I was really curious when I was approved for this ARC. A library in a lighthouse is really an unusual setting.
It's really enjoyable and entertaining mystery with a touch of (maybe) paranormal.
I appreciated the style of writing, the characters and the plot. No plot hole was present and all the was solved by the end of the books.
Even if it 's the third book in this series there were no problems in understanding the characters and their relationships.
I surely will get the previous instalments and look forward to the next one.

I'm really interested in herbs, how to recognize and use it.
I really liked this book. It is a very good guide explaining the different type of herbs, how to handle them and is full of interesting recipes.
There are wonderful pictures.

I used to love Joanne Fluke's book and was really happy to got this one. I didn't read the last instalments and it seemed to me they changed so much that it was hard to recognized them.
The mystery could have been interesting but the flow of the story was interrupted by the recipes and people kept on eating, drinking coffee and discussing details that had small or no relevance to the mystery.
I wanted so much to like this one but I had to force myself to end it as I found it a bit boring.
Hope the next one will be better.

A really good debut for a new series. This book was really good. It is full of humour, lovely and funny animals and interesting characters. Even if the theme is culinary the mystery plot never takes the backseat and the cooking part is part of the plot.
It's well written and it kept me guessing the motive till the end.
Strongly recommended.

I'm a fan of Bryant & May books and this one met all my expectations. It's a very good book full of humour and funny and entertaining characters.
It was really interesting to read about their youth and the description of the historical time was both entertaining and interesting.
The plot was great and funny, sometimes made me laugh loud.

I really enjoyed this book. It's full of humour, bizzarre characters and pop references to old tv series and mysteries.
It's very well written with an interesting plot that keep you guessing till the end. The heroine is complex, with a huge emotional baggage and the book is also about her path to healing. The other characters are funny without being grotesque.
Cannot wait to read the next instalment.
