This was such a fun, cute, different retelling (but not a retelling) of the love of Arthur and Gwen. I really like that this was it's own story. It had wit that made me laugh! I liked the characters a lot and really enjoyed listening to this book.
The world in this book was not what I was expecting! I enjoyed learning about the magic systems, as they were different than other's I've read about. I didn't expect the ending, and that's always a positive for me. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes magic, slow burn romance, a little bit of political intrigue, and multiple POVs.

Y'all! This book was perfect, yes, perfect. I needed a cozy, autumn read that had some excitement, love, understanding, renewal, and discovery... and this was it! If you love all those things plus fantasy and books and imagination then you need to read this book! Plus it is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside... so buy a copy for your shelf! That's what I plan on doing. Thank you so much to Travis Baldree for writing (and narrating) this gorgeous story and to Netgalley for the audio-arc!

This was sweet, sad and comforting. I was surprised a little with the “twist” of Katie having gone back in time, but I liked it. The book is good and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves this genre.
This book was so fantastic. I listened to the audiobook while reading through my physical book and it was a great experience! I loved hearing how the words were pronounced, while hearing Sean and Puck's individual stories from different narrators. I'm so happy I was able to experience this story, visit Thisby, and get to know Sean and Puck.

This was such a lovely story. I really didn't know too much about the story before I began reading, so I did not have many expectations. I enjoyed getting the know the main character and reading about the prophecies and histories in this story. The ending was very unexpected, but it was a wonderful conclusion. Thank you so much to Netgalley for giving me the free e-book for review!
o I really don't understand what some people adore about this story. The ending was sad! The style of writing took me awhile to get into and understand. It was simply because this was written 100 years ago and we speak differently than now. I'm going to be reading some reviews and opinions on this book-I feel the need to understand it better than I currently do.
I Just Love THIS WORLD. I want to live in it. The ONLY reason this got 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wanted it to be longer.... I need more. This was so great. I loved reading this from the point of view of each of the siblings. I really need to pick up a copy of Solitaire and read Tori's story now, because I love her more than ever. The way this story dove into the feelings of how Tori is experiencing having a sibling with anorexia, it was so wonderful and realistic. Thank you Alice for writing this book!
This was such a sweet book. There were some parts that were heartbreaking but the ending was really well done.
