I received the book in my Owl Crate. I was surprised at how much I liked it. I found Holly Black' s faerie world enchanting. I think I'll be reading more of this series when it is published.
just like book 4 in the series, this book seemed to have too many words to tell the story. I liked the story and I'm glad I've read it.
some parts felt unnecessary and dragged out. can there be too many details in a fight scene? if so, this has them. but I like knowing how it all began.
This was not something I would normally read. I read it because of the bookclub I'm in (but have yet to actually attend...maybe this month). Mary has a way with words that is delightfully light. I enjoyed the book and found it a great break from my reality. Not all the essays were my taste, but overall it was a good read. I have marked several quotes that I am sure I will re-visit and ponder.
This was a fun, surprising book that I can not recommend enough! I even got my husband to read this and he enjoyed it, and that is Huge!
This book was wonderful. The story of this man centers around Christ. It's a wonderful story that keeps the focus of Christmas and Santa on Jesus. I definitely recommend this book.
