Another wonderful story of characters I didn’t know I needed more of. I was so sad to finish this book, I don’t want it to end. Absolutely impossible o put down!

This book was unlike anything I’ve ever read. I did not know how much I needed a murder mystery written into a fantasy setting until I did. I’d never heard of this author and solely picked this book due to the Goodreads rating. I’m so glad I did! I am blown away at how innovative and engaging this story was. I want more!

As someone that lives in a somewhat small town in the south this book gave me hope for the future. I saw a lot of my own upbringing in the stories and a lot of the change that is starting with Gen Z and Gen Alpha. It was a thoughtful look on the way the south has always done things and why we need to acknowledge it to be able to change it.

This is all I could write through the beautiful, magical tears this book caused. It’s healed a bit of my soul being not too far off from those mismatched and bruised children that needed a place to belong. Ignore the negative reviews. Read it. You won’t regret it.

I 100% thought I saw this coming. I was wrong. I was so wrong. Even ones I thought were an easy slam dunk, I was wrong. She got me and I loved it!

I have no words. It was an exquisite story woven so beautifully together I have no idea where the seams were. I will hold this one with me forever.
