My only complaint is the odd and oft-repeated use of “said plainly” in the dialogue towards the middle of the book. It’s the only thing that drew me out of the story. Solid story line and a quick, entertaining read.

Absolutely loved the ending to this duology. The payoff was fantastic and I loved how much I hated the villain!
