I almost gave up on this book. It has a slow start but every bit of information it gives you is essential later. It is a story of loss, beauty, joy, and pain. I was sad to finish it, I wanted to live with the story just a bit longer. But it ended exactly as it should.

A beautiful story of loss and love, and living a death worth leaving behind. It’s not often you go into a story k owing your heart will be ripped out and stomped on and still look forward to it happening. Anyone that has grieved for a loss understands the hollowness that it brings. This story makes that hole just a little smaller and shines a little brighter. It gave me a peace I didn’t know I was looking for.

It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed out loud while reading. This book is exactly what you think it is and more. I could not put it down. If you need a fast read that gives you a wink and a nudge to all other sci fi that’s come before, this book is for you!
