I’m going through my finished books on https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1259503-anastacia and updating/adding reviews. I’ve been on a big serial killer/true crime kick and this one did not disappoint!

I was disappointed with this.

I’ve heard such amazing things about this book, and am a huge fan of the author. But honestly, this was nothing special for me. Well written and researched, a good read - just not as good as the hype.

It was cute enough and a quick read but nothing special

Another comic rated highly, but I don’t get the hype. I didn’t find it funny or well drawn.

I have a long, long wanted to read this book. Being a fan of the movie outbreak, I knew this was the book the movie was based upon.

All in all, however, the book was just not written in a way that I especially enjoyed. This is a non-fiction book, that does read very close to fiction, and I love non-fiction so it definitely wasn’t that. I do know books written in the same decade as this one, for the most part I am not a big fan of. I think it’s just the way the written, how the pacing is, how the characters

Man, I really enjoyed this one. I mean, it was absolutely horrifying and it got worse page by page, but it was just such an amazing and interesting true crime book that I had never heard of before

I love love love love, Jenny. Love her blog, love how she writes.

I laugh hysterically every time I read anything that she writes. Made Hubby read both of her books too.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. I love love love Jenny. Her writing is seriously laugh out loud funny

Eh.

I liked the premise of the book, 21 days, and my therapist keeps telling me to do affirmations. I still don’t really believe in them, which is probably making them never work for me. The book doesn’t have anything in it that you can’t easily find in a very quick Google search. Fine as a freebie to read, but not much more than that
