This book had me in tears! The story of June and Elvis' love story is so gripping and vivid, better than many fictional romance stories I've read. The writing is really nice and well paced, I was flying through the pages. A great insight into life in America during the 50s.

I really couldn't get into this book. It was trying to be so much more than it was, and failed at it. Unlikeable characters, so many plot holes, strange twists that didn't make a lot of sense. Nice to see a woman protagonist but I couldn't empathize with her at all. The story ends on an unexplained point but I've no intention to continue this series.
