Phenomenally slow, to the point of tedious. This particular book seems in no way related to Robin Hood (though I imagine it will do in future books) I really can't believe I actually finished it. It seemed all over the place plot wise and there appears to be all sorts of things set up for future books that just bog down the current story. I also dislike it when an individual book in a series doesn't really have a conclusion of its own, and thus one just sort of stopped. Overall I don't understand how it has so many positive reviews.
Good for what it is
Definitely an easily readable modern YA retelling of Much Ado About Nothing. The characters were fun and there was still enough new plot to provide a big reveal at the end. The humour was a bit hit and miss, and the nerd references seemed to be trying too hard but overall fun.

Easily read with a great variety of useful information and overview of many relevant topics.
I was surprised at how easily readable this was for its age, and how engaging the storytelling.
More plot to it and less humour than an Austen. I also found it more difficult to read due to the dialect at times. One of the rare occasions where the TV adaptation (BBC 2004) might actually be better than the book!
Possibly my favourite one yet
Relatable and interesting in many varied ways. It was great to see some serious character developments and enjoyed there not being a murderous aspect to this one.

Not as good as some of the others.
3.5 rounded up. As well as the time travel concept is done in these books, I felt this one was rushed in places and didn't have a particularly gripping plot or 3D secondary characters.

Fascinating time loop
Great plot, great use of the time loop idea. We'll written though the sibling behaviour was a little off at times.
