Great fun, great characters, mostly great plot but an unconvincing ending slightly let it down.
Some interesting parts, but on the whole not as interesting as I'd hoped. I wasn't a fan of the Q & A style of writing or the lack of chronology, it made it quite difficult to follow.
Easily my favourite Audio Autobiography so far. Good fun, engaging and incredibly easy to listen to as an audiobook. I think I may even have enjoyed it more the second time around.
Fun, innocent entertainment, though not the most consistent or well developed world.
I don't really know how to rate this. It was like being hit repeatedly in the face by a stick of morality; there was nothing subtle about it (though the biblical morals preached on the whole have withstood the test of time). I see some flaws and am not satisfied by some of the ending but I do feel like I truly got to know and grow attached to the characters and have watched them grow up so in that respect it was well done. On the whole I'm glad I've read it but will be unlikely to read it again any time soon.
Enjoyable in some respects but generally everything is too perfect for the protagonist. It's got a bit of a prepper fanatic / military wannabe feel to it but I'll probably listen to the others at some point.
