Intriguing, compelling, and unexpectedly sinister. It was strange but fascinating read.

Not what I expected, but thoroughly enjoyable. The plot was fairly easy to predict, but the writing made it a fun experience anyway.

Great characters and world with some interesting plot points. Slow at times and a bit lacking on humour but I'm looking forward to the next book. It particularly hit a chord as I too live on a boat and can't remember reading a book featuring boat life before.

I love the setting of these books, but this one has the weekest mystery plot so far in my opinion.

Enjoyable but obviously unfinished. I did enjoy the characters and tone created in such a short amount of time in both books.
