I didn't enjoy this as much as the others, not a particularly satisfying ending to this one. As usual the nerdy references were enjoyable but over all not as humorous as the earlier books.

I managed to read this book knowing absolutely nothing about it, as such the twists and turns were all unexpected and quite enjoyable. The view of our future and what it means to be human was interesting to read especially within a fast paced plot.

Listened to this as an audiobook while driving through France. Pleasant enough read.

A bit of a muddle, there were chunks I really enjoyed and parts I didn't. I was unsatisfied with the epilogue, I would have much rather finished the book with the main cast. The writing as always is great though I do have to look up words from time to time. As with the other books perspective swaps a lot which isn't my favourite thing and for this one I'm not sure it really added anything to the plot.

Over all worth the read.

Not a fan of the plot on this one, everyone was a bit to foolish or extreme in their traits. Though as usual the humour is still there. This time round it was the interactions with the Scotts I enjoyed most.

It wasn't my favourite plot of the series but there were still plenty of laugh out loud moments. I think all mentions of the "Gwenches" got a giggle out of me every time. The humour and nerdy references throughout these books are just right for me. The series makes a great light hearted change from the current grimdark trend in fantasy.

Great fun, I wasn't a fan of the perspective swapping but it really did make me laugh in places.

Not my favourite Wodehouse but entertaining all the time same.

Logical magic! I loved this book. If your after high fantasy this probably isn't for you, but if your after a humorous, slightly ludicrous adventure through medieval times this is perfect. As shrek is to fairytale. So this book is to fantasy but with a bit more logic.
