Loved it!!

Loved this about ten million times more than King of Wrath - probably because I connected more to Isabella and Kai, and as a writer and lover of books, how could I not?
Loved seeing them resist for so long and then fall so, so hard.

Defied Expectations

I hesitated to read this, because with a title like The Virgin Next Door I thought it was going to be cheesy and meh.
Instead I got witty humor, nerds in love, and a delightful story that kept a smile on my face the whole time.
Women finding their sexual appetite is how these things usually go, but Veronica already has hers all figured out. She just hasn't met the person who can be the partner she needs. And that, I think, was the most refreshing part of this book. Milo wasn't put in place to help her discover her needs, she already knew what they were. She already had a healthy attitude towards sex, and wasn't afraid to explore her desires fully when Milo came into her life.
The rest of their story is fun and sweet and adorable and they end up being the kind of couple I wish I could know in real life so I could swoon over them in person.

Absolutely loved this! Saint will forever be my favorite of the three men, and the twist reveal had me screaming! Well plotted, well written, and thrilling till the end! Readers will not be disappointed!

A beautiful continuation

I really loved the way this story developed. I loved the way they worked through Deloras grief and trauma and depression while also letting Nameless learn and become who he needed to be for her. I adore how sweet he is. Building more on the world building in this story was excellent, and I want to know more about Duskwalkers and this world more than anything while reading these books!

Twisted my heart

Ack, my heart twisted around like a Duskwalkers head towards the end of this book. (In a good way!) Very well written, I loved the hints of Mayumis heritage throughout the story, and once again loved the world building and continued struggles against the Demon King. So glad this is an ongoing series! Each new Duskwalker I read about has a bit of my soul.

Oh lordy

This was brilliant! I absolutely loved everything about this, the development of both Adam and Sage and their relationship flowed so well. This may take top spot in my favorites from Sara Cate, over her SPC series. Which is baffling, since those are my all time favorite romance novels.

Sweet and sexy

I'll be honest, Sara Cate is my favorite romance author, so this one was a little bit of a let down.
Don't get me wrong, it was still good, and I still enjoyed it. But it's very obvious that this is her first book, and when I think about her more recent work it's easy to see how much she has evolved and improved since this came out.
Things felt a little repetitive and not as well planned out as her other books.
Logan and Sierra still were wonderful to read about, and my toes still curled reading the spicier scenes. I'm still going to read the other books in the Wicked Hearts series as well. Worth reading, especially to better appreciate how with a lot of hard work and passion, someone can improve so much.

All the emotion

Holy wowzers, so many emotions. This book made me smile, it made me cry (multiple times) and left me feeling like I need more (good thing there's a sequel coming out, right?!). Patrick and Laurel are so lovely together, even as they work past Laurels insecurities. Well worth the read.

My favorite so far

Merikh and Raewyn might my favorites so far! So well written, and I love the further development of the world the Duskwalker series has been developing, as this might be my favorite part of the series.
Beautifully well written, and though I'm not black or blind, I feel like both are presented in Raewyn respectfully and with care.

Delightful

Loved this! I expected it to be a little longer, and maybe it was lacking a bit on tension midway through the book - but overall a sweet, cozy read. I love the world building in the this, and I'm looking forward to reading future books in this series! Now... Where can I find a bear shifter for myself?
