Pardon me while I gather my emotions before attempting to do this book any justice with a review.

/pushes her heart back into her chest

Don't let the blurbs fool you; they will try to compare Zentner to John Greene or any other number of YA titans, but his voice is distinctly his own. Full of compassion and humor, Zentner manages to make an entire grieving community feel like your own people. It's a story that will have you clutching at your chest with emotion, unable to put it down until you've finished the very last page.

(This review is based on an uncorrected advance copy of GOODBYE DAYS that I received.)

Y'ALL. Squirrel Girl goes back in time to fight Dr. Doom and it is AMAZING. He really is the worst villain ever. Not that he's bad at villain'ing, but his ego is ridic and he's constantly referring to himself in the third person. Not a good look.

I mean, for real, how come you aren't reading this?

SO sad that this series isn't going to continue. Dazzler, Niko, Medusa, Singularity, She-Hulk, and friends all made such a great team!

Intergalactic bounty hunting BFFs, Kim and Kim, are here to make you want to join their girl gang of two. Definitely not for kids (lots of swearing, etc.) but damn. I am so glad that I read this book. And the art - the ART! You need these two ladies in your life, I promise.
