I really enjoyed everything about this story. The relationships, the nature setting and conflict, it was all perfect. Charolette is going to be an auto read for me going forward!

I really loved the way April was written. I cherished the relationships she had with the side characters, as well. I think this is going to stick with me for a while!

I really enjoyed this adventure of a story. Every time I picked it up, I immediately was lost in it. The various perspectives of one event made the writing unique.

The Lincoln Highway worked for me a lot better than A Gentleman in Moscow, so don’t count this one out if you haven’t loved Towles past work!

I’m stuck between 4.5 and 5 stars, so I’m giving it 5… for now. I love a book that explores different lives of an individual based on small or large decisions they make. Rose’s decision to have a child or not drives the timeline variances. I really enjoyed the topic and found the story comforting.

I adored this book and the way it was written. The author did a beautiful job of writing some in present tense, but then revealing some parts of the story as reflections from the character. It was a really wonderful, quick read.

This book… wow. The writing was out of this world. The way Onyi Nwabineli writes about grief is just extraordinary. It’s absolutely one of my favorite books of the year.
