I wasn't quite sure what to expect when starting this book, but I was relieved that he didn't lean too much on the "God is the only thing I'm loyal to" implication that I got from his title.
It was interesting to hear, in his own words, what happened. And I will quote him now, from the epilogue.

What is happening now is not normal. It is not fake news. It is not okay.
My first time reading a book from Corey Taylor and I'm so glad that his books are as awesome as he presents himself!
I gave this four stars because I think a few of the responses could be done better, but overall I like the way this was presented.
I knew this book would be about death, but I didn't realize that this was about his death. That was an oversight on my part because I literally said "oh, this one from Hitchens is short-ish and I can easily read it this morning before work since I can't sleep" and didn't read the blurb. I was crying for parts of this for him. He's a brilliant writer and this was a powerful insight into his last years.
A fascinating insight into the "real" Mother Teresa and not just the front that she put out for public consumption.
I'm dead! O_O I feel, right now, that I just need to go adjust my reviews on almost every other book I have reviewed and drop their ratings because this book was just so fantastic! Like, on a five-star scale, it's at least seven.
Truly, this book was hard for me to put down. The only things that got me to stop reading was passing out because of my allergy medication and being physically unable to read (driving or working). I'm in love! Will there be a sequel!? I hope so! But just, wow...
I knew I would love a fictional book from Hank Green, but I didn't realize just HOW MUCH I would love it!
Read this. Trust me.

My full review is here on my personal website. I'll post a few excerpts here, though:

The very worst thing about this book is that they eliminate the first shoe shattering. That was one of those “oh no!” moments in the movie that really worries us as youngsters, but they didn’t include it in the book. :-(
The very best thing about this book is the simplicity of it. It’s enough to hold the attention of a two-year-old (or a 27-year-old – me) because the story is fun, but simple.
I read this to my niece twice last week before her naptime and she loved it! So did I, for that matter! She was even more excited that the copy I read to her was hers to keep. :-) What can I say? My girl takes after her Aunt Lishy in her love of books!!!
