"Feminist" is a word that we need to reclaim and not feel ashamed to use. So, I'm a feminist and I need to use this word more often.

I do not consider myself to be a strong woman, but it's something I'm constantly working towards. I hope that I am able to influence other girls and women to become strong women, though. The suggestions in this are brilliant.

It's one thing to "know" that systematic racism is a problem in our country and judicial system. It's another thing entirely to learn the numbers and multiple sides of the history that helped put this system into place.

The pictures are amazing in "Cats on Catnip" and I love the book!! I picked up "Shop Cats of New York" because I know the same photographer did the pictures for that book, too, but I haven't read it, yet.
