This was a cute epilogue for the frog prince fairy tale. I lived the appearance of different witches from different stories.
Thirteen Moons on Turtle's Back: A Native American Year of Moons
Jonathan London, Joseph Bruchac
An interesting and educational book about Native American moon legends.
This book was adorable! I'm all for books that represent specific cultures, especially when they're Cajun books, and I love when they're done well. This beautifully illustrated story, while fairly typical of a children's book, is written with a uniquely Louisianian twist.
This was recommended by the Marvel Unlimited app and I'm so glad that it was - now I just need to figure out where that cliffhanger picks up!! :-D
Perfect for those learning to read. Lots of repetition, emphasis on sight words, and simple enough to not need an adult's help -- but definitely needing an adult's audience to show off the reading skills!
