So, you almost die because of an evil camera, you know it's a story most people won't believe, and yet you write a "true story" paper about it and then decide to take a picture of the teacher because he didn't believe your unbelievable story... Sounds legit! :-p
How does a snowman have a scar? Wouldn't the snow just shift to fill in the gash? The things that bother me when reading childrens' books...
Heh... "Here kids, you stay home with this monster, we're locking you in and not telling you anything - also, there are random missing staircases. Stay safe!!":
Evil typewriter? Check.
Evil pen? Check.
Neither option actually being evil in the end? Check.
I need a typewriter. I find it much less distracting to write/type on a typewriter than on my computers with internet, games, and multitudes of other stuff that I can do! o_O

This was an absolutely incredible book! I love the way it was written - quick flash fiction (is that the right term?) from completely different and mostly unrelated people, but all about the same topics and events. It's awesome and I had difficulty putting it down when I needed to go to work or drive. :-D
Naturally, I've seen the TV show which led me to the comics. I'm amazed at how different the two are!
I think I'm in shock. This final book struck a completely different tone than the rest. Still written with that old school vibe, but you can see the cracks in the "author's" sanity. If was really hard to put down and I kind of just sat staring at the page when I finished.
Just, damn. That's a great book.
