I've enjoyed this book since the first time I've read it.

When I first learned of this book, I knew I needed to read it and that I would reread 1984 immediately before reading this one. I remembered that most of the times I had read the original I had come away thinking that Winston was kind of a piece of shit - he was misogynistic, hateful, and basically just wanted to think of himself as better than the others.

And this book tackles all that and more.

But also, what the fuck is this ending?! AAHHHH!

It's been a while since I've last read this... I listened to the audiobook this time and was still just as fascinated as the first time I read this book.
