Turtle is one of my favorites, so far, and his struggle (and the reasons behind it) are so heartfelt.

Nooooo!!!! Another setup to the next book! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the series, but I hate waiting for it to come out. 😹

I love the lessons these books can teach children (and adults, should they choose to read and learn), but I especially love how enchanting the stories and characters are written. Just, love love love love love.

Learning the backstory for Fierceteeth and Strongwings is delightful!

Six-Claws and Dune have an interesting history.

Deathbringer's backstory is heartbreaking.

Wow... I'm guessing these might be Darkstalker's parents? I hope so, anyway! Arctic and Foeslayer were fascinating!

Following Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom throughout this book is fascinating. And finally seeing Albatross in all his insane glory is just as awesome. I would be interested in following Clearsight's further journeys as well as going just a touch further back and learning more about Albatross.

At first I was a bit confused by the mixing of stories, but I love the way it all came together. This was a great end (?) to the trilogy.

And that other book I mentioned when I finished the second one, it's a prequel!!!

The very worst thing about this book is either the predictability or the unoriginality. There are some unexpected moments, but overall it’s fairly predictable. Also, the author borrows obviously from other stories. Not that it is unusual to borrow, but it does seem unusually obvious.

The very best thing about this book is the world that Clare has created. The way the different species interact and their histories.

The very worst thing about this book is how predictable it ends. I mean really?

The very best thing about this book is that it isn’t the final book, even though it was supposed to be.
