So so fun - I love a villain-gets-the-girl story, and the light humor was entertaining. Definitely finishing this series!

Th concept is interesting but I just cannot deal with the constant run on sentences.

Thank you to Simon & Schuster for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This new romantasy series is definitely going to be big. World building, politics, and slow burn steam!

I loved the MMC and FMC - Reid is a cinnamon roll and Vaasa is so strong and stubborn. The side characters are just as interesting and I'm interested to see if we get a Koen love story 🥹. World building and magic were well-conceived, and I was impressed and engaged with the political plot lines. I can't wait for this book to come out so I can talk about it with everyone!

I found this book so emotional - something about the dragons being so connected to their riders broke my heart. I loved the world building and the family ties - excited to see where the story goes next.

Banter and slow burn and tension and one bed/cave! Obsessed, not sure how I'll survive until April 2025 😭

I loved this story! The world building was well done and I found the pacing to be ideal. The romance was a sweet enemies to lovers (tropes: forced proximity, marriage of convenience, one bed, one horse). While I found Keelynn trying at times, it didn't ruin the story for me, and Tadhg was fun enough to make up for it. The writing is good enough, but I wished at times it was a bit stronger. Would still definitely recommend as a strong romantasy!

AHHHHH!!?! Usually a middle book in a trilogy is a bit of a drag but this one was so good - I was not disappointed at all. Loved the character progression and romantic entanglements. Never had an author has me TORN between two love interests like this! Dying for the final book!

YES this is what I want from a romantasy - such great world building, slow burn tension romance, and great characters. I loved the mysteries strewn throughout. The only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is that Im not a fan of the 'inevitable' trope where things that are fated fall into place (unless it's just fated mates 🥹). I'm hoping things shift in the next book from that trope, but I'm still hooked and still loving this series!

Loved it - the multi POVs and not knowing who the victim is for the majority of the book kept the twists from being obvious. I loved the reveals, and the author did an amazing job of giving each character a distinct voice.
