This book was suggested to my by book tube as I liked the night circus I might like this, I'm not really sure why they thought this was a close match, other than there is two rival families who put on circus type shows one in trees as birds and one in the water as mermaids. 
I found it okay, if you like enemies to lovers you'll probably enjoy this but it wasn't groundbreaking or particularly my jam.

I really enjoyed this, an old lady takes a walk around New York and her old haunts, talks about the good and bad of her life. 
She is a lady who went against the status quo and lived the bohemian life with a job in advertising which she loved but her parents did not approve of, and in a time when all there was for women was the marital bed and children. She became the highest paid advertising woman in the industry for Macy's. 

She suffers with mental health and the struggles of eventually falling in love and having a baby which meant the loss of her beloved job. 

Sentimental, perhaps but I enjoyed this a lot. 

I struggled to get into this one and it was a slow start for me but once I was in it, I did really need to know what was going to happen. 

It isn't one of my all time favourites but it's definitely worth a try. 

A very easy, sweet story. 
I liked it enough while reading it but I doubt it will stay with me, pretty good. 👌 

I loved this book, highly recommend. 

Dull. Nothing about this was interesting to me after 60 pages, literally 5 pages about thinking about buying a pony. No ta. 

I needed a nice easy going book and found this to be just the ticket, took me a few evenings to read and wasn't really very taxing. I very much enjoyed it even if it was totally predictable. 
I liked some of the names in this book, and enjoyed each characters perspective on the same set of humans. 
I also enjoyed watching how each of the characters were linked. 

This was quite a tough read and it took me a good week or so to find the motivation to finish, it's got a lot going on and in parts I found it terribly boring. 
In the end I think I liked it. 

I didn't really enjoy this one I just found myself skim reading it, rich people doing rich people shit. 
All horrible. 
Initially I liked it but as it went on I found myself less and less involved. 
On the up side its very short so the suffering doesn't last forever, perhaps I should have watched the film instead 😂 !
