A beautiful short story about a man who created a forest!
I really liked these 61 pages! Lovely beautiful and about a man planting a lot of trees and bringing back an eco system.
Nature is cool.

This was a great romp through the 1940s through to the 1960s, a letter from Vivian to the love of her life's daughter Angela, explaining her life and how she knows Angela's dad!
I enjoyed this book, I felt like it would be a great book to read on a beach in summer. Lots of fabulous parties and outrageous outfits.
Showgirls and actors, living in a bustling new york theater.

Solid book, I liked it a lot.
I like stories like this, and I listened to the Audio book which really helped immerse me in the story, I had read this one years ago but I had mostly forgotten the story.
I found Christopher to be a strong main character and I really enjoyed seeing the world through his perspective. It must be really scary to not understand what is going on a lot of the time but also to by hyper intelligent in other ways.
I like how he used maths to make sense of a world that really doesn't hold much in the way of structure.
I also enjoyed that it wasn't just a "they all live happily ever after" ending, it left it open and if felt honest and real.
Christopher's Parents, I did sympathise with them, however I did think that they were pretty shitty parents overall, and there was a lot of questionable moments, and the losing of tempers turning into violence against a child who is so very much on the spectrum felt uncomfortable, and more so that it was from Christopher's perspective.

Made me cry with laughter, although I had heard a lot of these stories on chat shows Acaster is so funny they do not suffer a second telling.

I love this book, I've read it many times before and every time I enjoy it.
Its a very unique position that Ann Rule found herself in, and I don't think we will ever get this sort of perspective again, not only because the way cases are managed is different but also due to the advances in science, technology and policing techniques.
Ann Rule was also a friend of Ted Bundy, and honestly thinks he is innocent for a good portion of the book.
My only gripe sigh the book is that it is a bit long, even though I love it its about 100 pages too much and I do think she covers the same ground a bit too much.

This book was rather long and plodded along, I liked the premise but get the execution in parts was excruciatingly slow.

I worked the ending out less than halfway through the book, and felt it to be predictable and a little boring.
I just don't enjoy these types of books, I read this for book club, nothing wrong with it, just not for me.

I was really bored, 100 pages of nothing and less happening.
Just wasn't for me, it's not a book that you "read" more of a coffee table book, I don't really know what I was hoping for, maybe a little bit more of the docuseries on Netflix, as it was it felt dated, like all observational comedy it is of its time, and although moments were funny, realistically I've not picked this back up in 6 months.
