a rare hockey romance i have a physical copy of (#kindleunlimited gang, where you at?!?) — this was my first elle kennedy read after seeing her name all over booktok, and it was a solid three star read! cheesy and predictable and didn’t quiiiite have the magic touch i was hoping to find, but it did have classic tropes of enemies to lovers, fake dating, etc. but also trigger warning for sexual assault and r—pe!!

january’s #alltheradreadsbookclub pick — we had SUCH a fun time chatting about this one (and casting it, and trying to remember all the many characters and side stories and plots and murders?!?) ❤️ tbh i read/listened to this while i had the rona and the brain fog was REAL (plus i kept dozing off while listening…) so i admit i was not at my best, but this really just felt like it was meant for people 30-50 years older than me 😂 aka i recommended it to my grandma this weekend and i think she will love it!!

if i’m in the mood for a cozy, quirky murder mystery vibe, i’m going to three pines for gamache and the gang, and that’s that. 🤷🏼‍♀️
