I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would, that being said this felt almost too fast for me? Which is such a weird complaint since the main reason I read this is because of the page number. Also, the blatant sexism wasn't fun to read.

I can't explain how excited I am to have Carlos back in Night Vale. That last episode made my heart so full!
I read this collection a lot slower than the others but I loved it just as much!

Ngl ep 49 hit me like a freight train 😭😭

This wasn't as good as book 1, but I did really enjoy the character and world developments and I can tell that I'm quickly becoming attached to these characters (except for Steve Carlsberg, duh!). I'll definitely be moving on to book 3 soon!

I truly love this series, it's the absolute perfect amount of weird.

I mean, this definitely could've been a lot worse, and in a way it was? But the character development was so much better than it was in the first two books and my standards for this series are so low that that small improvement earned this 3 stars, instead of the usual 1 or 2. rtc

I didn't hate this but I didn't love it either. I think I need to take a break from the overwhelming NA stereotypes for a few weeks.

Ngl I think I preferred this to the entirety of the first series. I can't explain it but this was just so much better.

Buddy read with Rebecca

This wasn't mind-blowing but it was a lot of fun. Fitz is a graphic designer and he's also a game designer + Summer Is really into fashion & also has ADHD. I can't vouch for the ADHD rep but I did appreciate seeing it as a big part of Summer's character especially because she is at school doing essays etc. and it makes sense that she would find those difficult, I know people with as he and they have similar struggles. I definitely recommend this if you've got a few hours to spare.

TW: Uncontrolled fire, Attempted rape, Teacher coming onto a student, ADHD joke (unchallenged), drinking to excess, assault (challenged)

“Our work will always be important to each of us. But you have my heart wholly, Wadsworth. No matter what. The only way that will be taken is in death. And even then, I will fight with every piece of me to hold your love near. Now and forevermore.”

I enjoyed the second half more than the first half and honestly, I actually think it was a pretty good little novella to read before you read book 4 so if you've already got it and you haven't picked it up yet, definitely give it a go!

I wish I could tell you guys that I loved this and it made my day and it was worth the however much I paid for it. But honestly, this did nothing for me. Maybe if I was in more of a Cressworth mood this would have been a 5 star instead of a 3, but right now I'm just feeling so underwhelmed by this, which is weird since I loved the first novella, Meeting Thomas Cresswell so much! Hopefully, when (if) I give this a reread down the track, I'll enjoy this more!

Nowhere near as bad as my memory had me convinced it was, but definitely not fantastic. I just know that if I didn't read this in one day I'd 100% be struggling.

I am genuinely so sad to say this, but I really really didn't love this.

It's about goddamn time I finished this. I just want to say that the time it took me to read this book is not an indication of whether or not it's good because this book is amazing, phenomenal, fantastic, heartbreaking, revolutionary and a whole bunch of other words I can't think of right now because I need to go to sleep. Basically, I felt this deep in my soul, I can't believe this was under 250 pages and I absolutely need to re-read this already so I can highlight every goddamn line.
